  
 Temaril- P (trimeprazine with prednisolone) is used for the treatment of itching and coughing in dogs. Available as scored tablets, the usual dose for dogs up to 10 pounds is 1/2 tablet, 11-20 pounds is 1 tablet, 21-40 pounds is 2 tablets, and over 40 pounds is 3 tablets. These doses are given twice a day.
